With hang gliding becoming just one of the increasingly popular adventure sports in and around Glenbeigh, Rossbeigh provides the perfect haven for this sport.

In general one must first get to the top of a mountain and launch from there and as Rossbeigh (300mts) has the facility of having a track for an S.U.V. vehicle (4×4 mpv) this is an absolutely perfect place with adequate parking. The smooth winds from the sea, generally blowing from the West, North West and North, make this an absolute haven for this adventure sport. Beginners and less experienced pilots will find this a treat to explore, and for the more experienced glider pilots there is the continuing mountain range ridge stretching for 27Kms which allows great distances along with spectacular scenery to be availed of.

With the most beautiful mountain range and golden sandy Rossbeigh beach, this provides an amazing experience for both the experienced and less experienced glider.
